Anti Aging Conference in Orlando Florida

I attended an anti-aging medical conference in Orlando Florida this April. The topics and content were great as I am especially interested in hormone management as we get older. They also had an Expo so my husband is trying a product from Neogenis to boost Nitric Oxide in the body. I also won a $3000 Laser Cap in a raffle!!! My 22 year old son is trying it now as he is starting to go bald. I will post pictures every few months on Amazon Fitness. I also can get my blog readers a 20% discount on the laser cap. Email me if you're interested.

I also took some time and went to Disney World and had a blast.

Here is a pic of me hanging around some bats. It was creepy!

Alexandria, Egypt

I went to Egypt in April 2010 and met some wonderful people. Here is one of my fans, Nayer, with his Policeman friend. We went to a cafe and smoked a sheesha with Nayer and his friends. The tobacco was an apple flavor tobacco and was very tasty. :-)
Seeing people pray in the street was a very new sight for an American and I just had to capture it.
I had a great time in Alexandria and the rest of Egypt.

Asia Society award ceremony

I recently attended the Asia Society Award dinner honoring Riaz Siddiqi for distinguished achievement in business and philanthropy at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston. Riaz is such an incredible person and I really enjoyed his speech. He has great ideas on how business and society should function together. Here are some quotes from his acceptance speech.

"I believe the quality of Humility is the essential ingredient of sustainable progress as individuals and as nations. Humility once acknowledged and internalized, opens one to the possibilities of collaboration. Collaboration as a model of human interaction leads to win win solutions, as opposed to win lose or zero sum propositions."

"...we have the evolving field of social enterpreneurship in which the one supreme metric, return of and return on capital, is supplemented by a concomitant and equally important metric and that is social development."
